Public money to cover approx £10M of security for her funeral. and her son is "SIR Mark Thatcher". How the fck did that knighthood happen. ?A man involved in arms deals and alleged organising of military coups,...now thought to be developing property in Spain. Dodgy fcker

I don't want to pay for her funeral.
Terms an conditions of employment. If you want me to sort out my own pension, give me a pay rise commensurate with the payments. Or don't you think those that work for the public should be looked after in old age? Just heard Milliband, what a wormy c***, he should be unleashing the wrath on behalf of the millions who will never forgive her. You should get the same state pension as the rest of us and your own personal plan if you want it. People who signed a contracted work pension plan should get what was contracted. Its not their fault that the assorted employers got it wrong. Same with salary, if I signed a contract for x amount a year, they shouldn't be pressred into accepting less because other people have f**Ked up.
If you signed a contract for x amount per year, you wouldn't be pressured into accepting less - well you might be, but if you didn't you'd be made redundant. Is that what you are advocating we do with all teachers so we can start again without the burden of public pensions? Got my vote.

Seeing as the whole world has changed since some people signed said contracts, they should all be reviewed. If you signed a contract for x amount per year, you wouldn't be pressured into accepting less - well you might be, but if you didn't you'd be made redundant. Is that what you are advocating we do with all teachers so we can start again without the burden of public pensions? Got my vote. Bad planning on the behalf of pension providers and businesses, shouldn't be the responsibility of the employees to bear. Where I was working, those who didn't sign the new contracts would have indeed been made redundant. Which is essentially a strong arm tactic which redundancy law WAS NOT designed to be.

Once again, you are engaging in personal digs, rather than sticking to the point of the topic, which is how much of a bitch Thatcher was to the nation. Absolute balderdash. In actual fact the debate is about 'Margaret Thatcher' where viewpoints FOR and AGAINST are order of the day. In the final analysis, 'Margaret Thatcher' came to power with this country in ruins and transformed it into a force in the world.Britain seemed doomed to continual econmic decline - Britain really was in the 'Last chance saloon'.

city types. Your mention of "City Types" leads me to assert that what is often forgotten (Sometimes conveniently) is that Margaret Thatcher smashed middle-class and professional vested interests too. The 'Big Bang' in 1986 broke the hold of ex-public schoolboys over our financial institutions. Willo
