I have to question your pollution around Heathrow is higher because of immigration remark.
1. Do all immigrants charter their own flights or come on flights that are already scheduled and coming here anyway.
2. Using your logic, we should stop everyone coming here because of how they get here. Also don't those pesky tourists take up valuable resources?

Your remarks just go to show you are uncomfortable discussing anything to do with mathematics and logic....

Point 1 - Airlines schedule flights according to demand... they don't run them for the fun of it. Because of the higher and rising immigration experienced in these last 5 decades the Airlines have increased their flights to meet the demand... that is why Heathrow want another runway.

Point 2 - You are being silly and reactive... point 1 above explains my logic perfectly with regard to immigrants. Tourists are another matter and the amount of unnecessary flying that a lot of people do these days having numerous overseas holidays does concern me yes... and our planet suffers from all the pollution as a result obviously.

Please don't smugly dismiss my arguments when you don't understand them... my mathematical ability and logic is far superior to your own.... I have tried to get your brain to understand pensions in the past but you struggle with the concept.

Stick to simple things that you understand.

As I said earlier your feeble brain is not capable of making the leap from the concept of supply and demand.
