I don't mean to rub it in when the USA foreign policy is at odds with basic humanity, but that is a rubbish bridge. I thought it was the 'Bridge at Remagen'. Was it built by Boeing? One section supporting the other like that, doesn't look right.

This man was the worst US President in history, by a huge margin. He tried to overturn an election result. Encouraged an insurrection. Scammed millions. Admires dictators. Threatens NATO. Is the first ex President to face criminal trials. The first President to be impeached twice, only surviving because of the balance in the Senate. Put his political survival higher than the health of the nation. He is a fraud in business and in politics who ought not be within a million miles of any kind of influence. These aren’t secrets waiting to be exposed by future generations. They are all in plain sight. We cannot vote to keep him out but we can and will voice opinions.

If, God forbid, Trump does get re-elected, which is by no means the certainty that some seem to think it is, then there will be no meltdown. What would be the point of that? Countries around the world would need to react and cope, knowing it ought not last more than 4 years. I worry about the effect on us. We are likely to have a Labour government by then and I cannot imagine Trump being even remotely interested in what they are doing. Hopefully the EU will see that as an opportunity to rebuild bridges but they will have their own Trump issues to contend with. Not least the impact on Ukraine. Then there’s NATO and the threat to its survival. How the USA itself will react and how long before a tide of regret sweeps the country remains to be seen. Perhaps a third impeachment would see him out before he has time to do too much damage. So meltdown, no. Continuing opposition and regular analysis of stupidity and unfitness for office. For sure.

Stupid post, no surprise there. You are a structural engineer? More than stupid, people are dead and you think it's funny Moronic Edited by HKOwen (27 Mar 2024 11.03pm)
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

When you look at all this guy has posted about Trump over the years on the site, to see it all thrown back into his mush will have a kind of glorious retribution to it....fully deserved. The American people don't buy his kind of hyperbolic absurdities....where anything is justified against an opponent short of murder...and you sometimes wonder on that. Trump will no doubt look to turn the tables on those who wouldn't leave him alone when they could have. Those that used lawfare to cause him outrageous financial penalties with rules ignored for others. The American public in polls know it's a witchunt so they will grace him some payback. However, just on the metrics America....which is currently running a staggering two billion deficit is going to have difficult times ahead whoever wins in November....that acknowledged the comeuppance for a disastrous Biden is fully warranted. All those that vouched for them should hang their heads in shame as what happened was predicted. But unfortunately we know them to be shameless. God I hope these clowns don't manage to get us all nuked because this is going to be fun.
