Perfidious Albion as always but don't have the clout anymore.
So because it's adjacent to Spain means they have a claim to it? Why don't they claim France or Portugal as well? Look up Cueta and Melilla and then tell me how "valid" Spain's claim to Gibraltar is. Edited by Cucking Funt (09 Apr 2017 10.45pm)

Edited by Cucking Funt (09 Apr 2017 10.45pm) My point was not about any Spanish claim to Gibraltar.Rather, that in light of our decision to give a big V sign to the EU,it is hardly surprising they will be looking at the situation of a dodgy tax haven on the periphery of southern europe (draining off tax revenue from nearby countries) and wanting a say in its EU market access as part of any deal with the UK..Its no different to how we would react in the world of real politik,so we should drop the faux outrage. As for Cueta and Melilla,Spain should get out of both IMHO and are hypocrites over it in relation to sovereignty claims over Gibraltar..

It was aimed more at steeleye's nonsensical drivel.

Delight, and a greater level of employment for people from the Isle of Wight as Spanish translators. Its like the Isle of Mann, secretly we all wish someone else was responsible for it. There is a reason why they put a Prison of the Isle of Wight, and that was to make it escape proof. Seriously, the only reason it has walls, is to keep the locals sexually assaulting the prisoners and staff. The only good thing about the Isle of Wight is that they walk the big cats on the beach at dawn, and its cool to watch. But in truth, its more about protecting the walkers from the locals.

How much did this affect the voters? Massively, it seems to have encouraged whole areas with massive voter apathy, to vote. Which I guess is a success. Of course, if I lived in Rotherham, I'd like to think I'd vote for anyone who was against housing people in Rotherham, including me - Hoping I guess they'd home me somewhere else.

How much did this affect the voters? Well, if they want an asylum, contemporary Britain is the right place.
