I spent 1 1/2 years trying to rejoin as a reservist & only gave up a few months back.
I've honestly never come across something as catastrophically bad as the army recruitment process.

The mountains are calling & I must go.

Depends what they are expecting the army to deal with in the coming years. Why would you recruit people from the white working class demographic if your political masters see that group as the main potential enemy of the future?

Headline in today's Telegraph about Jeremy Hunt urging the Bank of England NOT to rush in cutting interest rates. With a GE expected in the next 6 months. Think about this. Why would a Tory not want borrowing to be cheaper for millions of people in the run up to an election? f*, I sound like a paranoid lunatic even to myself but these t*s are deliberately wanting to lose. Rees-Mogg is right, the Bank of England are 'lamentable'. Interest rates are obviously too high, causing economic damage like this. Thy were rubbish on inflation, always behind the curve. They never lose themselves, of course.
