When I contracted to the NHS we always found it funny how rude west indian nurses were about Africans, Ghanaians, etc.

I don't believe people should be allowed to adopt a word as certain groups feel they can. It's okay for them to say it because it's ironic etc you say it you are racist homophob blah blah. How about we all agree that certain words are rude and should not be said in polite company by anybody. I don't mean banning just that if you use it expect people to be offended.
