As for the personal abuse ...grow up I called you a creep, what's the difference to the way you talk down to me or anyone else that doesn't share your views.
And saying I am complicit in what this or any other government are doing...have you f***ing heard yourself...you are losing the plot comrade.
I will answer some the other things you have just said another time.
Because just now I am to f***ing angry, and I will do or say something I shouldn't, and as I like reading and posting on here,I am not gonna get myself carded by some one like you.

Do you not agree that anyone who votes Tory knowing what the Tories are likely to do isn't somehow responsible?

What about Germany being at fault for the harsh terms put on Greece by the IMF.

P.S. Don't get wound up by the internet. It's unproductive.

Methinks you are just being deliberately contraire.

When were you in Baltimore?

Haven't been, but read a lot of books about it from the back of watching the wire. Also know a couple of teachers who've been there.
Books are great for finding out about stuff. That's why austerity is being used to close libraries. Can't have an informed free thinking populous can we?

Well they have power struggles over there just like anywhere but the Greek financial situation is with the European Central Bank.

The Greek PM made the wrong call he was in a dreadful position but you can't get blood out of a stone.

You need to get a life mate. I'm seriously worried about your mental state. You are so embittered about anything right of centre you cant see the woods for the trees. Who the f*** goes to the library in 2017 when you can get most of the information you need at the tap of a key on your device (including books)

So far all you have had is a knee jerk reaction to defending self serving Tory MPs.

To help you form an actual response:

1 You could counter-argue on the pension points detailing how there are potentially similar schemes in the UK etc and in no way are these MPs hypocritical. That may require you to do some research and good luck with that (there aren't); or

2 You could give your opinion of the big society initiative the Tories tried and then quietly shelved and how it was to say supplement public services rather than replace, but that too may require you to do some reading.

In your limited vocabulary you may say I am up my own arse; but I know that I am being deliberately condescending to example of an individual who espouses lowest common denominator politics.

But you referred to 'Tory MPs' dear boy when you should have just said MPs if you were highlighting Parliamentary hypocrisy.
And common denominator politics. what is that exactly?
Do you mean cutting through the spin, lies, waffle and the detail that none of us are genuinely informed about?

I don't pretend to know what I don't. I don't consider myself anything more than slightly above average intelligence and I'm not a civil servant who is in the know about the Westminster gossip. I'm not an economist or campaign for a political party.
I am happy to admit that and be glad that I'm not a legend in my own mind. I am old enough to know what I believe in and what I don't.

I have met a lot of people who thought they were clever over the years and oddly enough, it turned out that they weren't as clever as they thought.

People who haven't got devices. People who prefer books. People who want somewhere quiet to study, young kids who love big picture books, in my library there's a lego club, visits by authors, talks and presentations.
No we don't need libraries.

Cutting services like libraries public conveniences
etc. does not lead to reduced taxes we know now that austerity doesn't work that is why the tories must continue it.

Ah the old sarcastic face palm ( I must of hit a nerve?) My point was probably skewed I have no problem with Libraries I just question how many people actually use them in comparison to 10/15/20 years ago. You could argue that every town should have a Cinema because people want to watch movies.

That is a lot less people than it used to be.

I suppose your attitude highlights the problem with Labour. You think that everyone is entitled to everything regardless of if they contribute to society or if the budget can afford it.
You criticise the modern capitalist society but you would be the first to approve of borrowing money to keep services going that are not a priority in the modern information rich world.

You can choose what books to read. Built-in or other default RSS and news feeds on devices are chosen for you. Consider the Amazon Echo and applications like Cortana and Siri.....ask them for the latest news and you'll get what the likes of Jeff Bezos (owner of the laughable Washington Post as well as Amazon) want you to get. If you think otherwise, you'll be deluding yourself.

That's the beginning and end of the argument for me.
