What about Germany being at fault for the harsh terms put on Greece by the IMF. P.S. Don't get wound up by the internet. It's unproductive.

I'm seriously worried about your mental state. You are so embittered about anything right of centre you cant see the woods for the trees. To help you form an actual response: 1 You could counter-argue on the pension points detailing how there are potentially similar schemes in the UK etc and in no way are these MPs hypocritical. That may require you to do some research and good luck with that (there aren't); or 2 You could give your opinion of the big society initiative the Tories tried and then quietly shelved and how it was to say supplement public services rather than replace, but that too may require you to do some reading. In your limited vocabulary you may say I am up my own arse; but I know that I am being deliberately condescending to example of an individual who espouses lowest common denominator politics. Edited by pefwin (22 Apr 2017 1.41pm) But you referred to 'Tory MPs' dear boy when you should have just said MPs if you were highlighting Parliamentary hypocrisy. I don't pretend to know what I don't. I don't consider myself anything more than slightly above average intelligence and I'm not a civil servant who is in the know about the Westminster gossip. I'm not an economist or campaign for a political party. I have met a lot of people who thought they were clever over the years and oddly enough, it turned out that they weren't as clever as they thought.

Ah the old sarcastic face palm ( I must of hit a nerve?) My point was probably skewed I have no problem with Libraries I just question how many people actually use them in comparison to 10/15/20 years ago. You could argue that every town should have a Cinema because people want to watch movies.

That is a lot less people than it used to be. I suppose your attitude highlights the problem with Labour. You think that everyone is entitled to everything regardless of if they contribute to society or if the budget can afford it.

Built-in or other default RSS and news feeds on devices are chosen for you. Consider the Amazon Echo and applications like Cortana and Siri.....ask them for the latest news and you'll get what the likes of Jeff Bezos (owner of the laughable Washington Post as well as Amazon) want you to get. If you think otherwise, you'll be deluding yourself. That's the beginning and end of the argument for me. Edited by Mr_Gristle (22 Apr 2017 2.16pm) Edited by Mr_Gristle (22 Apr 2017 2.16pm)
