pretty obvious isn't it. maybe not some of you lot because you are older (i think) but for future generations of teenagers n kids, if its legal its boring, and for young boys in particular - the badder the thing they are doing - the 'cooler/harder' etc they think they are. While its illegal its not doing any harm at all so why change it?!? because criminals are getting money?! if you're funding them you can't complain because at the end of the day its a want not a need. **

I've often wondered about this "gateway to harder drugs" thing that ganja is labelled with. Maybe you can help me figure it out.

The way I saw it was that it was just as likely that kids are moving on to harder drugs because they are already doing something illegal -- the "new" drugs are effectively no worse than a smoke, as far as they see it. I think if people are foolish enough to try harder drugs because it makes them look cool, will do so weather ganja is legal or not. Personally, I have done harder drugs, but my reasons for doing so had absolutely nothing to do with the fact I like a smoke, or wanted to look cool infront of my mates. I'm araid I don't agree with this "gateway to harder drugs" theory.
