Yesterday was one of the best days of my life - celebrated my birthday at luchtime and after work, got back early and knackered intending to have an early night, put the radio on just as Jools scored, dragged flatmate out to the Tulse Hill Tavern, watched the Millwall game on the big screen, cheered every mention of the Palace game, I was that happy, I even cheered for Millwall after Palace did the biz. Drunken chanting on the way home with a fellow Palace fan walking up Tulse Hill, then home just in time for the highlights.

How funny was that run by Heskey ? And the own goal which Julian is trying to claim!

It doesn't get any better than this. Well done to everyone who had the faith to go up, I am ashamed to say I considered it and rejected the idea. After all, it was 5-0 last time. We couldn't possibly win at Anfield, could we?

Just a perfect day ....

I'm knackered. Got in at 3.00am but up early 'cos i'm still so excited..what a result. Dougie made all the difference when he came on, he turned the match on its head, but Cedric was outstanding in goal and kept us in it 1st half and from Donkey Heskeys run. Grays finish was outstanding and the silence when the og went in was brilliant. It took a couple of seconds for the crowd to realise what had happened. But credit to TF who had the balls to change things early on and make that vital substitution. Can't wait for Saturday and Forest.

WHAT A NIGHT, WHAT A GAME...... Wish I was there. Instead I was stuck in the Cock and Bull pub in Sutton, listening to the radio. When Dougie went of I thought is was curtains, but what a reply from Jules (or should I say from the head of a Liverpool player). Right now I don't know what to say, apart from bring on the Leeds. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaggggglllleeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss.

Holy s*** what a night! Incredible! We are fast turning into a f***ing hard team to beat! Trev's tactical turnaround in the first half was not only incredibly brave, it was inspired, and it worked a dream. I am so happy to be proved wrong on this one, I thought we'd missed our chance at Selhurst, but we've gone on and played like a team that really believes!

TREVOR FRANCIS RED & BLUE ARMY!!!!

Well said Pete!!

For me that was right up there with the 4-3.We were awesome but it was`nt just won on the pitch. It was a collosal effort from the manager the players and the supporters.A true team victory.Be proud,be very proud.

First we trab the weed 5-0

Then we turn the scousers over

I think Louis Armstrong said it best:

And I think to myself.... What a wonderful world

PS Did you hear Jules after the game being interviewed:

Interviewer: I understand you're trying to claim the second goal

Jules: Why not?

CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

We rode our luck but who cares. That so called cockney ref let Hyppia kick Freedman all over Anfield from the moment he came on. Douggie shouldnt have reacted because Sami small mind got what he was looking for. The end was just white noise in our section and my throat is still sore. The scousers went home with tails between legs and 6o6 on the radio on the coach home was hilarious. Lets do Leeds and show it wasnt a fluke.
