I know its a bit corny, but you do tend to follow teams from other countries who wear the same colours.Having said that,i used to follow Fiorentina b4 the club went **ts up financially, so there goes that theory,Dragan!!

I wouldn't say they we're my second team but i always look at out for Leicester city. I go to university there and am also a steward, as a result I’ve probably seen more Leicester games than palace games over the last two seasons. I also now what you mean about the red and blue thing. Barcelona is obvious, but what about Basel. I live with a scouser and am seriously considering getting one of there shirts, red and blue and the knocked Liverpool out the champions league which ultimately kick-started there bad run which won't come to an end until after they've been knocked out of the fa cup by another certain red and blue team, with a bit of luck!

Celtic, since I now live in Glasgow, am Irish and (therefore) can't bear the other ones. Anyone know if you can get Celtic/Palace scarves? They do 'joint' scarves here when Celts play in Europe - so in the last round of the UEFA the club shop sold scarves with Celtic on one side and celta Vigo on the reverse.

Man. City for the simple reason I was born there and my family are all mad City supporters. Also over the years there have been some interesting links between the two clubs. Does anyone recall seeing a program Granada did about City over the 80/81 season? At the start of it Big Mal is their manager, he gets the sack and is replaced by John Bond. Big Mal returns to Palace and in true FA Cup tradition the 3rd round draw pairs City vs Palace! Some great footage of the match and a very glum Palace dressing room at the end. The second half turned out to be a disaster for us, 4-0

I have a lot of respect for Man City and especialy thear fans. Just emagine how thay must feel. Its a two team city and the other team in Man urinal. Must be tough. I clearly remember Man Urinal winning champions league while City struggled in 2 nd division. That must have bean tough.
