It was just a workout and more minutes to get match sharp.We should have taken those few chances that came our way in the first 20 minutes. We do need another striker that’s for sure and we will look more solid with Docoure back in the middle. Riad looks very assured at the back and that looks a very good signing indeed. Away to Brentford is the one that counts….

The players returning from England duty looked off the pace, taking one touch too many at times and misplacing passes they would normally do in their sleep. That lack of sharpness cost us the win. Aside from the goal, what I liked about Kamada was his ability to always find space, similar to Wharton, and the fact he regularly chased back to win the ball. At times he did seem to take the safe option, but he is looking like a fantastic signing. Plus he might challenge Ayew for the grumpiest face after scoring.
