We are crying out for left back/wing back.

Another forward would be nice too.

Look on the bright side we are not West Ham.

Last season they had the oldest squad in the PL today they have just paid £27m for a 31yo striker, he may be good but they wont get that back.

West Ham and Everton always seem to over pay for players, thank god we have Dougie and Steve.

With respect Hrolf, I disagree. OG has promoted Umeh up to the 1st team to challange/cover TM. Schlupp has played there before & in a perverse way, Eze can as well(he did with England). Think we may need the pennies for a 'keeper if SJ leaves.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

How many players have West Ham signed so far. Seems like at least 10 and they're linked to everyone who even looks like they might move. It'll be interesting to see how they do next season!

Johnstone is an England International, unless he is out of contract we will get far more for him than we will have to shell out for a replacement.

There is no proven cover for Mitchell save Schlupp and the very fact that we were considering Sessegnon means Glasner was probably considering some competition for that spot. For me, Adaramola is the natural cover but I believe he is now on loan so I can understand why Hrolf is concerned.

I too would still like to see another striker but rumours seem to be we are trying to retain Edouard. Not sure why to be honest he is just not prolific enough at this level to be a top striker.

Edouard had it easy for two and a half seasons with there being no perceived challenger for the striker role with Mateta not being given enough of a run in the side to show what he could do. Edouard never seemed to give it 100%, or so it looked to me. Now, though, he's suddenly the reserve striker after Mateta's transformation. He seems to be working harder in the pre-season games and he may well get the first 2 or 3 games of the new season with Mateta at the Olympics. He may decide it's time to bust a gut to show just how good he can be.

Also, Hodgson didn't do him any favours by the way he set us up last season - nor did Vieira when he became more defensive-minded in the season before. Under Glasner, Edouard should get more chances to score. We will just have to see how that impacts his game.

The problem with him is that even when he's trying he doesn't look as though he is - a bit like Berbatov. When he gets a chance he tends to place the ball rather than put his foot through it which looks great when it works but half hearted when it doesn't.
He scored some good free kicks for Celtic but might not get many opportunities for us.

W.Ham have signed 5 players in pre-season, Messrs Foderingham, Kilman, Summerville, Guilherme and Fullkrug.

I believe the outlay has been around £115 Mill which does not include the add-ons in relation to Summerville.

Would like to see some back up for the full backs

Mitchell is always fit and glasner is improving him.

Issue is Munoz and Mitchell get injuries I think it could change the whole dynamic of the team.

Another Number 10/Attacker would be nice unless Franca is turning into Prime Rivaldo - but I think Schlupp and Ayew will stick around for another season

Nasser Ndija might be a smart piece of busines? Not direct Geuhi replacement but Dougie rarely makes a mistake and could slot in and gain under 21 experience?

Ward played left back for 2 seasons in the Premier, Cynne has also played there, along with Schlupp . Umeh as previously stated is lined up as cover.

How many left backs , do we need?

I like Ward but even his sprint is a brisk walk for most other players.
