If we sell Guehi, it's vital we give Andersen a long contract in my opinion.

He's only just hinted he's decided to stay (after a Christmas period under Roy where he made it clear he wanted out. I'd imagine that though he is happy now under Glasner he'd be cautious about tying himself to Palace for any longer just yet.
Guess we wont know unless they put an offer in front of him though

Also, Andersen is now 28 so the club are unlikely to offer him a contract beyond age 31 (his current contract runs out in 2026 i.e., when he'll be 30).

Got a gut feeling Marc Guehi is going to have an outstanding tournament then watch the offers come in….

2 games in and Marc Guehi is the only player that has come out with any credit so far. Let’s stick 120 million on his head!

Can't do that, Utd, Chelsea, liverpool & Spurs won't like that, they'll complain & cry.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Was that in one of his post-match interviews? I missed that.

Assumed he'd be first out the door this summer but amazing if we could keep him.

Having Guehi / Anderson / Riad / Richards as CB options would be terrific.

Guehi does not have any release clause allegedly. So the onus is on the club.

Whatever decisions are reached, we are building a squad which is really going to suit a very exciting manager.

Absolutely. It would be great if we could get a couple more in early to show ambition and hopefully convince Eze / Guehi to stay. Even if Olise goes, we have a very very strong core and hopefully players like Ahamada and Franca can blossom this season as well.

Why ? Contracts are totally worthless as a tool for retaining players.

Also, he's not that young. At 28 with 2 years left on his contract, I don 't se us offering more than another year and then it will be a year at a time once he hits 31.

I'd genuinely give him a four/five year deal. His injury record is exceptional, missing two games in the last 5 seasons.

Also his game is based on positioning, heading, aggressive tackling and his excellent long passing, not pace. So he still should be a very good player then, even if he slightly slows down.

An ideal mentor / leader for younger defenders in our squad. Absolutely love him.
