No irony in the constant suggestion that conspiracy theories are the result of some malign outside influence is itself a conspiracy theory.
The intelligence agencies of the “5 eyes” have said that this is happening. Several Western elections, including the 2016 and 2020 US Presidential elections, and the Brexit referendum were tampered with and that foreign intelligence agencies are busy trying to steer opinion towards positions which suit them. So, unless you choose not to belief our own intelligence, these aren’t theories. They are fact.

Where's the evidence? Indeed, the US agencies were officially significantly criticised over Russiagate and had to apologise......something that he ignores.

Where's the evidence? Try these for starters. Prosecutions resulting in convictions are not theoretical.

In the same file as Russiagate No it’s not. It’s out in the open. See my previous post. The desire by some to attempt to whitewash the so called “Russiagate” scandal asks questions regarding how much they have been influenced by the kind of misinformation peddling which originates from Russian troll “farms” of the kind the intelligence agencies are concerned about. Russiagate was real. People were indicted and jailed. Trump was not exonerated. Mueller concluded there wasn’t enough evidence to prosecute him, and was also stymied by Barr’s ruling about a sitting President being immune. Yes, there was a Trump appointed Special Counsel who criticised the way the investigation was set up and managed. Which itself was at odds with another DoJ investigation which reached the opposite conclusion. Neither report though criticised, or in any way undermined, Mueller’s findings. Not that you would know that if you only listened to Trumps interpretation of a report he commission himself. This was yet another incident of Trump being able to establish plausible deniability. Something he has done many times and is continuing to do right now, via his lawyers, in the current case in NewYork.

Anything that is verifiable as authentic proof of how and why it happened. Which given the elapsed time could now be difficult to obtain. By the way if evidence did exist that proved your contentions then it would certainly have reached a media outlet prepared to publish it. There are many who would revel in such a scoop. They already enjoy publishing all the conspiracy theories. For example? I want to know exactly the sort of proof you would expect.

Prosecutions which result in convictions have nothing to do with any media company or government department. They depend on judges and juries assessing evidence. Whether the source is precisely the same is unimportant. What this proves is that the warnings being sounded by our security services are grounded in fact, not fiction.
