People say I am the negative and grumpy one but this type of attitude is disgusting from you and others.

You should never want your club to fail this applies to the clowns who keep going on about how they hope we get relegated as well.

Yep.

The rest of your post is, as you say, hysterical. Fear has caused you to be like this. Calm down and remember the previous seasons in this league since 2013. If we were in the bottom 3 now, I'd understand the worry. But we are where we always are at this point in the season. If we drop into the bottom three, I might start to worry too, until then, I'll behave like a grown-up.

Unlike the thousands of others you align with. There are also thousands of fans who think differently to you. There is no crisis unless you and your thousands make it a crisis. Banners and booing is not helpful, even if it is warranted (which it isn't).

You are the one mentioning banners and booing. Where did I mention or approve of that? I’m dealing in reality and the reality is, we haven’t won a game all season without Eze or Olise or both in the side and we are starting to play worse football than in the first half of the season so let’s just see where that situation and the current manager takes us shall we.

You could try posting without insult as well, but I get used to it from you.

... well, we're in 14th place, just about where we always are. Where is this crisis? It seems, just because you, and many, many others want to hear what the board are doing, you (all) have imagined a crisis. I imagine Roy Hodgson is being kept fully in the picture, and is being fully supported.

But don't let that deter you (all) from slating Steve Parish, Roy hodgson, Dougie Freedman, etc & etc...

Players arguing with fans, our best players being mismanaged so they repeatedly pick up injuries, a failure to replace players in the positions we need, and a press and fanbase in meltdown over Roy's status. If you look elsewhere you'll see that I think we'll survive even if Roy stays, my point was that the club is in turmoil even if you don't want to call it a crisis. If there was some leadership a lid could be put on that. The longer the silence goes on the more the rumours spread and the worse it gets. I will also say I like having Parish as our chairman despite some poor decisions (in my view) but this is a time when he needs to give Roy his vocal backing if he has it.

Losing games are part of a life with the Eagles, but the way we are losing games this season is pathetic and embarrassing.

And when your children don’t follow your recommendations to stay at home in the evening you want them to be knocked down by a street-gang, showing them you were right and they should follow your advice????

Yes but it’s not hard to see his point. If we scrape a draw on Monday, it’ll simply prolong the pain.

I agree.

I hope we beat Chelsea on Monday similar to the last time Hodgson's success here began. Somehow we beat Chelsea, it lifts the mood amongst team and fans, the team start looking more solid with us as fans roaring them on and Roy steers us nicely through to the end of the season. I hope for that but struggle to envisage it at this moment in time, I almost feel ridiculous writing it.

A draw would be a great result but again I'd fear the groundhog day of uncertainty and very fragile hope. A bad defeat may provide the catalyst for real action and that may not be the worst thing.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Tim, we are in 14th place now. But forget the league position then look at the points away from the relegation zone. Add to that current form, and the injury situation. It’s not a pretty picture.

We seem to have a different version of Roy now. I like and respect him but he seems to be struggling over the last few months. My own personal opinion, but he has not been helped by the clubs Summer purchases with the exception of Lerma. So injuries to an already lightweight squad have left him with few options other than to continually select players that are not up to standard and/or out of form. I’ll park his mis trust of young players for now as I don’t think , Ozoh apart, there are any that look ready to compete at Premier League level.

There does seem to be an issue between medical team and manager. I won’t pretend to know more about football than the seasoned professional that is Hodgson, but introducing Olise into the game last Saturday was a complete nonsense. And has been widely recognised as so.

Parish’s continued silence is resulting in widespread speculation about the managers position. There are two ways you can interpret that. First of all he may not even be contemplating sacking Roy - or, he’s busily trying to recruit someone.

All we are left with then is the media reporting which ranges from the Board being furious with Hodgson after the Olise debacle, through to the search for a new manager and an apparent reluctance to take the job by the supposed candidates.

So if the search for a new man is genuine, then Parish shows the same concerns of most on here. Is he then imagining a crisis too ?

My learned fellow supporter, I wholly concur with these sentiments.
Situation not quite 'Critical' at this juncture but the relegation trapdoor is being oiled for likely usage.

We really are in a bit of a pickle when one factors in the injuries to Eze,Olise and Doucoure and our current abject form.

Joined the site only last summer. You have to be careful as he could be a fan of 50 years, but spending time in the EPL gathers new fans who have not lived through what us old fans have. They expect too much and vent when not achieved.

I am one of Parish's fiercest critics but in this instance I really can't see what he is supposed to say.

Perhaps he will hold up a banner at the Chelsea game
