I sense a comfortable win tonight but I also sense a lot of people saying we only beat a poor side.

Just wanted to say I'm loving the optimism in the last few posts, it's picking me up at the very least!

Come on Palace!!! We are more than capable of the win tonight.

4-0. It’s due. However I predict if we don’t win Roy will blame the new signings even though they didn’t play.

This is actually not true (if you belive Roy's interview after the Brentford game-no reason not to). He said the sports science team as well as Ray, Roy, Paddy AND Olise himself discussed the best way forward. While all parties were cautious it was the sports science guys that pointed out complete recovery wont come without full strength. this wont return without match fitness/sharpness. Olise agreed he needed minutes to improve sharpness. All were in agreement. Roy did not 'ignore' any internal advise. I dont know where you got that from.
Although it is maybe necessary to point out that the sports science guys are not in charge. They are there to support Roy not instruct him. Sooner or later the boss has to make the decision. I feel had we taken Olise off (when he was on a hatrick) and Brentford went on to equalise fans would be tearing in to Roy for NOT playing him the full 90 minutes.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. We can all sit in judgement after the event.
