Dependent on a cut in wages, I wouldn't mind him back as a backup to Mateta. He has the Palace ethos at heart, he can play up front or on the wing, like it or not...he's still bloody talented.

Its a no for me... But out of interest, what role do people think he plays in our squad now?

However, completely theoretically, if he did he would be back up for any of the three front positions, or a replacement if any of them left. Realistically, he's still a miles better option than Schlupp, in particular, or Ayew. He won't want to come crawling back here again though, especially not to play back up on a far lower wage than he earnt a year ago when he buggered off.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

We now play a fast pressing game, in the last 3 or so years with Wilf he actually admitted to slowing the game down or game management as he called it. That was fine under Royball but goes directly against what Glasner is trying to do so much as I love Wilf it's a no.

Rumours going around that he's had talks about a move to Wet Spam. Great player on his day but his sulks on the pitch could well upset the harmony we have found recently in the team. Sorry, its a no for me.

Dougie and Clinton came back and had no regrets. However, I said up the thread how I would like him to be played. And he would need a riot act chat with Glasner before he joined that he would no longer be Mr Big Balls
