Dependent on a cut in wages, I wouldn't mind him back as a backup to Mateta. He has the Palace ethos at heart, he can play up front or on the wing, like it or not...he's still bloody talented.
I dont think it would be a bad option but I also don't think this would happen. Nobody can knock his competitiveness and he may still want to prove he's got the drive to play at a top level in him.

Sorry, but IMHO, Zaha is far too selfish for a Glasner team and in any event, he's well past his best and, as others have said, we need to be looking to the future.

The sooner this thread is closed, the better IMO.

PS. Thanks Wilf for all the good times, You were a star in the red and blue.

Its a no for me...

But out of interest, what role do people think he plays in our squad now?

I don't think he'd want to come back and I don't particularly want him to come back.

However, completely theoretically, if he did he would be back up for any of the three front positions, or a replacement if any of them left.

Realistically, he's still a miles better option than Schlupp, in particular, or Ayew.

He won't want to come crawling back here again though, especially not to play back up on a far lower wage than he earnt a year ago when he buggered off.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

That is the point. We now play a fast pressing game, in the last 3 or so years with Wilf he actually admitted to slowing the game down or game management as he called it.

That was fine under Royball but goes directly against what Glasner is trying to do so much as I love Wilf it's a no.

Rumours going around that he's had talks about a move to Wet Spam.

Great player on his day but his sulks on the pitch could well upset the harmony we have found recently in the team.

Sorry, its a no for me.

If he's happiest here, why not? Dougie and Clinton came back and had no regrets.

However, I said up the thread how I would like him to be played. And he would need a riot act chat with Glasner before he joined that he would no longer be Mr Big Balls

If Wilf does go too the hammers perhaps he can room share with Ward Prowse at away games,

Looking at the comments below the video they seem quite excited, odd really I guess they have been starved of creativity.

No, he would be bad for the dressing room, and for Glasner, opinion about everything, and moaning about all and sundry, he will be all over the promoted Croydon AFC, with his South Norwood born, Arsenal Fan, Stormzzzzzzy
