Shame, I was hoping we could add Ramsdale and Raya into the Henderson/Johnstone mix!

SMS Message: I want to see Palace bring in a replacement for Joel Ward. He's been a great servant but is getting slower by the game. Would be good to get in a Striker too as we have the wings covered with Eze and Olise. from Anon

SMS Message: From a Crystal Palace perspective we need a manager more than players! Would go all out to get McKenna from Ipswich. Ekitike from PSG on loan would be nice and a right back. from Anon

There has been discussion on here regarding Ronnie Edwards whom I saw playing for an exciting Peterborough team at Derby a few days ago.

Playing for Derby was the rated Derby central defender Eiran Cashin, a left-footed player whose positioning means that he doesn't need to dive into challenges.Cashin is only in his early 20s.I am advised that Brighton are interested in his services.

Given the [* choke *] quality of their scouting system, that is an effective stamp of quality.

We're definitely trying to rush a couple over the line by the end of next year or so.

Dougie has been analysing the team and looking at where we need people most.

It seems we are already after another central defender and maybe we can look at another keeper as after one win and a draw we are fine everywhere else.

But you know just how tricky this is. We will delay any offers until a couple of hours before the window closes, get no one and blame the system

Usual transfer window so far , rumours being regurgitated of the same players we were or were not interested in last year or the year before that . A few that we have no chance of signing and a maybe with potential that wont be first team ready for at least another season .

On the plus side it doesn't look like we will be losing anyone

I honestly don’t worry about the transfer window anymore, we all know all the time things are not looking desperate, which they’re not, then SP won’t be spashing the cash. As far as I’m concerned the January transfer window is now back to being good old fashioned January again!!

As Anon seems to think Eze plays on the wing, maybe best to stay anonymous! Ward is also injured and Clyne is playing RB. Much quicker, but let's not talk about his passing and his inability to cross a ball.

I know , I used to look forward to a new signing or two and the spectacle of Sky news parked up outside the training ground . I don't think they even bothered last year .

I’m pretty sure you’re right, I don’t think they did bother with us last year. I think the best January we’ve had since promotion was when big Sam obviously held SP down and tickled him until he let go of the cheque book
