Although I have Chelsea down to win they have a lot of players out, so it couldn't really be a better time to play them, especially if Eze is fit enough to start now.

I cannot understand the comments on here complaining that Hodgson will set up for a draw. Of course he fecking will! Who in their right mind wouldn't? Chelsea have spent ridiculous money, we have injury problems, and if we can keep them at arms length for 70 minutes then who knows what will happen, once they get stressed out and the crowd get on their backs? The idea that we would play openly, or attack and go toe to toe is just nonsense.

Easy win for us. Just give us the three points now. Barely any point in playing.

How about Villa, Forest, Everton, West Ham, Wolves, Newcastle, Brentford, Man Utd, all winners against Chelsea and quite a few of those at Chelsea. Did they all show up and play defensively? Chelsea, despite their tendency to buy any player that moves, have not performed well at all and have their own injury/suspension issues. Why shouldn’t we have a go at them, a lot would see this game as a free hit with all the pressure on Chelsea.

Come on Palace I’m guessing Roy has gone, mirror, signal, forward a bit, then reverse and park with a rev of the engine at 80 minutes when we are two down?

Well yes, that's generally how Roy sets up, but surely at some point the window of opportunity will open to be a bit bolder? We always stand off this lot and lose. A good chance to have a go I think.

Mate agree - no Sterling or Palmer - without them, their front line looks very ordinary..!! Don’t think we have ever beaten Chelsea at the Bridge - beyond that we have lost more Premier League games to Chelsea than any other side..!! This is an opportunity with their; current poor form, injuries and suspensions..!! Do I expect Roy to grasp that opportunity do I heck - he will set up to draw so I expect to see; Henderson For those asking why wouldn’t you set up for a draw - it takes 3 drawn games to get 3 points, whilst everyone else is catching up with you. Whereas a win is 3 points in one game and you’re putting distance between you and those below you..!! This is the mentality - Roy tactics that has got us in this position - which is why it’s time for a change..!! We will see but I bet my predicted team ain’t far off the mark - against a very much weakened Chelsea side - so as I said an opportunity - we will see in an hour or so..!! COYP
