Brighton's biggest weakness is when they're pressed at the back... they've made some horrendous errors.

One of their biggest strengths though is breaking the press so do we stick or twist.

I hope we do press as I think that's our best chance of a result. If we sit off, then I believe they will break us down and it'll be a depressing watch.

If Hughes is fit I'd play him as he's quite good at this (Troubled liverpool and Endo until VAR let them off). Fingers crossed Eze is fit to start and we get to see him and Olise together.

Peculiar timing for this match but get the job done and start Christmas early while the rest of the League are still sorting themselves out. 2-1 to Palace.

Hate to rain on your parade but Grandpa Roy will start his preferred 11 & the youngsters wont get a look in until 80+ minutes if we are 2-0 down.
Sorry for pessimism but having once celebrated the demise of Roy Ball only to have to endure it again cant see him changing his spots to play any youngsters unless nothing else left.
Ignore Saturday as his hand was forced....
But, i'm hoping that i am wrong..

Sorry to say but this reflects my views exactly.

I actually don't see Roy sitting back. We're at home and I think he saw where that got us vs. Bournmouth. I predict we lose 2-1, but it's entertaining.

Chris Sutton (End of a bell) predicts a draw with Brighton possibly nicking it. This is good news, we could win! 3-1 to the Eagles.

Makes no difference to Roy that Hughes is rubbish, so slow etc.. - and that Ozoh by the better option..!!

Will just stick to his proven “experienced mediocrity” come hell or high water..!!

Time for Roy to go..!!

So far from the truth it's not even funny.

Hoping to be on the front foot from the off and really take the game to them but unfortunately cannot see it. Think it is around 13 or so games this season that we haven't scored in the 1st half. As a result of sitting back early we let teams settle and they take advantage. We are too cagey/fearful at the start. What we saw in the last 20 mins of the Citeh game we need to carry on tonight. Cause some havoc. Also I don't think we have a great record in evening games. Can only think back to the Arsenal game some good seasons back for a good memory. Therefore expect a cagey game and a point, 1-1.

Hope Milner starts for them tonight, at 37 surely he has got to be considered their weakest link -

we showed good old fashioned pluck v citeh - we need the win more than them, Ezeh and Lerma back in, hope Ozoh gets a look in - 2-1 to us, I'm more than quietly confident.
