Alas Roy's previous history in games against Spurs and the like has us meekly defending, waiting for them to take the game to us, hoping for some miserly scraps that may or may not fall our way. Roy doesn't change, it's what he does. I saw the highlights of their game against Fulham, they press and get the ball forward sharpish, not to dissimilar to Newcastle. Our full backs will have a torrid time of it again I suspect. It just doesn't matter how many times that description of Roy is disproved, still the old myth of 'Royball' is bandied about. I could tell you, again, about Palace at the back - end of last season and the attacking flair we showed under Roy but I might as well whistle up my own arse for all the good it would do.

There is no way that we have the ability in our team to create and take goal scoring chances against spurs. The only way they don’t win is if they are wasteful with their opportunities and we defend well. I am going for. 3-0 defeat. COYP.
