We had absolutely no intention of trying to win tonight.

Saturday is all that matters.

You can see the United players genuinely giving it a go on a rare chance to impress.

Our fringe players look aggrieved by the inconvenience of actually having to play.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Can't afford to pick up injuries at the rate we are with the small size we have. Surely struggle to fill a bench at the weekend. Holding the only new signing available!

Off topic I know but I’m from Coventry (Whoberley), went to college in Leicester and been in London supporting Palace since 1987. Small world, although chitchat is probably more interesting than the match this evening!

Shame about Rak Sakyi’s two heavy touches with our best attacking chances.

He’ll come good though. Just needs to relax and have softer ankles.

Edit. Now 3 heavy touches. Ummmm.

Had to go out on loan this season to have any chance of developing. Lack of additions stopped that and I'm afraid it won't be time he gets back. A shame for him and the club.

I think it’s just a confidence thing with Rak Sakyi. Keep him on second half to grow into the game. He clearly has talent.

The beatings will stop when morale improves.

We’re all awful . I hate these games. I think manager is 50 % to blame here yes we have to be defensive but we have nothing going forward. We have to have a go at teams. Don’t ruin your legacy Roy. For your sake change the tactics and have a go even if we get stuffed what’s to lose

I said at the game on Saturday that Hodgson doesn't set up to win football matches. His main objective is to not lose football matches.

Looks like he's not even bothered about that tonight.

Why don't we just forfeit at half time so the fans can get back home at a reasonable hour?

Embarrassing performance so far.
