I noticed in the USA's 4-0 win against Ghana Richards played ahead of Ream ( the Fulham centre back ) I think he is raw but i think there is a player in there if he can stay injury free. He could potentially cover for Guehi. Anderson is one of the best distributors from the back i've seen and i don't think he will be so easy to replace.

Marc Guehi was a total steal at 18mill from Chelsea..my god they’ve made some rickets...we were looking at Perr Schuurs from Torino who’d be a great replacement...even more worrying would be Eze... we must sign the Norwich boy Jonathan Rowe as a replacement..he looks very promising....

The summer is probably the time to sell Anderson.

I don't want to lose him, but we need to be smart with optimal times to sell.

If he isn't a regular in the England XI then Southgate should be gone. (He should be gone anyway)
Based on that and assuming we end up top half and he keeps performing then yes £100m all day long.

Southgate made a point of saying to the Channel 4 team just how well Guehi played when he came on (He volunteered that statement - he wasn't asked about Guehi). He rates Guehi very highly and I fully expect Guehi to be Maguire's replacement sooner or later. It will be interesting to see if Southgate starts Guehi in the remaining two qualifiers.

The useless pundits were talking about whether or not Dunk would play ahead of Guehi. Of course he wasn't going to. Dunk will be 32 next month whereas Guehi at 23 is clearly the long term future English CB. Dunk may be a short term stop gap alongside Guehi if both Stones and Maguire are out.

I think they might also both be gone by next summer but could see Andersen to Newcastle in Jan and I think Guehi might want to wait to see what clubs come in for him in the summer off the back of hopefully a strong Euros.

Reckon we'd get 75m for Guehi and 45m for Andersen. A tidy sum to be wisely reinvested...we might even witness a new RB being brought in!!!

Andersen is not being sold mid season for 45m,

It's a strange one isn't it? We finally put together the core of a team that potentially could finish 10th and upwards, possibly higher with some astute additions, and yet there's talk of selling off the best players without any assurance that we have the savvy to replace them.

We had the savvy to buy them in the first place. What makes you think we don't have it to buy replacements?

Our best players will move to bigger clubs at some point and we will want to manage the timing as best we can and to obtain the optimum return. It's the model we've chosen to work with now we've got rid of the one where we bought experienced players who we past their peak and who had no resale value when their time with us was up.

Seen paper talk that we would accept 60m for Guehi.

Nothing south of 100m would be enough.

Future England captain and reminds me of Bobby Moore in his composure bringing the ball out from the back.

Sell a combination of either Guehi, Anderson, Olise, Eze, Doucoure in the Summer and fund the new stand.

I'm so Palace I don't even know it

It was suggested at one point that the funding for the stand was secure and "ringfenced". Make of that what you will.

I read the same somewhere but I think that was when the cost was to be £90m. I'll be very surprised if the club don't fund it partly (or mostly?) with player sales.

Are there any construction firms out there that have reduced rates for lower division teams? After selling our best players and filling the gaps with a few sick notes and cheapo duffers we might need to get in touch.
