A
club doctor at Galatasaray says Wilfried Zaha is struggling for fitness because he had to save Crystal Palace from relegation.

The forward has made only two substitute appearances since leaving Selhurst Park for the Istanbul giants this summer despite arriving to huge fanfare.

I would imagine that his medical records were relatively freely available to review & he would have undergone a comprehensive medical prior to signing so if there were reservation's about his fitness they would have been reflected in the financial aspects of the deal.

Maybe they used the same medical team we use when signing new players

Don't care they can blame Palace all they like but we did not sell him to them he was a free agent. Buyer beware.

You couldn’t make it up, but they clearly have. Back in January?

Thinking the same thing, it wouldn't surprise me.

In view of his long term injury issues, clearly the Club must now be grateful that he did not sign the lucrative 5 year deal and we have dodged a bullet and are doing very well without Mr.Petulance!!

Zaha always wants to play I don't doubt that he did for us when not fully fit. Last season his lack of pace was noticeable.

Gala must have known this when they did the medical. Hopefully they will rest him until he is 100% fit and then we will see the old Wilf.

If fit I would love him back on loan in January if he gets homesick, (Gala probably be out of the Champions League by then anyway).

utter rubbish. Wilf has played professionally for over 12 years so clearly will have some wear and tear. Surely that is to be expected.

As for his hamstring injury that surely must have been known as he missed the last few games of the season and would have been extensively assessed in his medical.

As for Palace rushing him back and playing him when unfit, well the previous injury was a groin (occurred v Leicester), so not related and as anyone will know who has suffered groin or hamstring strains, it is almost impossible to run with either. Therefore, he couldn't play with such an injury.

Clearly his most recent hamstring injury has taken longer to heal than Gala expected, but not sure how that is anything to do with Palace.

A bad workman blames his tools, springs to mind.
