Not looking for attention just if he is appointed we will get relegated. You will see in may 1000% If I’m wrong I’ll put my hands up and apologise but i won’t be guaranteed.

Roy kept us in this division for numerous seasons with a far inferior team. He took over the reigns when morale was at an all time low and we were falling fast down the table unable to score let alone win and we finished comfortably, quickly dropping out of the relegation chat.

I can understand people opining that it won’t be ‘entertaining’ with Roy, although I disagree given the resource at his disposal now compared to last time, however the one thing we can probably all safely bet on is that we won’t be relegated even if things are a bit dull.

Saying ‘you’ll hold your hands up’ does not really pacify feeling in response to what seem very childish and quite ignorant comments so you’ll rightly get grief. It’s the equivalent of saying ‘no offence’ before saying something very offensive.

That's not even a realistic likelihood because if Mr Hodgson was manager and it began to look like we could be relegated, he'd be sacked, just as it's been done before, before May.

One thing we can say about the chairman: he has a talent for sackage at the right time.

Not bothered about entertainment element just wanna win games. We’re to predictable under Hodgson he doesn’t want to win every game . As for if we’re in relegation battle we will sack him quote. Might be too late. Or the damage may already bd done

I'm sorry to break this to you, but we will not be the best team in the division next season. This is largely a money game. We had the 11th biggest wage bill, and guess where we finished? Other teams are much richer and their fans have the sort of entitlement and over-expectation that you are voicing. The difference is, they will win more games as they can afford better players and have better coaching and support facilities.

Roy will have us playing to the level we should be proportionate to our resources. All we can hope for is that we perform above our station like a certain other team south of us did last season. However, don't hold out for us (or indeed them) holding on to that unless a wealthy backer comes in.

Even then I'd worry that we might get one who immediately sacks the manager and appoints his brother who's greatest experience is coaching an under-11's school side - as I believe happened (more or less) elsewhere...

I suspect you're probably just trolling but I'll givenit one go. As other posters have tried to point out, RH doesn't really have a 'style' but is pretty good at assesing the ability of a squad and getting them to play up to it. As for his previous time with Palace you just have to look at the squad he started with, which had a number of good players and played good football, and the squad he finished with which was nowhere near the same level but he still managed to keep up.
If we have Hodgson as manager for the coming season the style of play will be determined by the ins/outs over the transfer window.
