And finished above Chelsea.

And that’s what matters most.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Whoever is the manager next season will have the same problem as this: namely two forwards who between them look very unlikely to improve; to the contrary, both look entirely in their respective comfort zones and are taking the club for a ride.
One for Parish & Co to ponder during the close season.

So pass it to someone who knows where the goal is.

and your knowledge is mmmm , he has had some close shoots saves so as defensives midfield player he is allowed to shoot last game of the season with no worries

Probably a fair result. They had the better chances in the first half and we dominated the second. Thought Eze was going to be the hero and win it at the end. Olise was again a different class and worthy of all the end of season awards.

Don’t want to criticise any of the players. They kept us up - that’s all that matters.

Now - the transfer sagas begin!

Without meaning to sound gratuitously rude, we replaced one clown with another today. To be fair to Edouard he has some rudimentary talent which very rarely translates into product. But Mateta, there is a reason he only cost 8 million. Outside PSG and maybe a couple of other clubs Ligue 1 must be quite poor.

Excuses for Benteke was lack of service. There can be no such excuse given now. Striker(s) a priority yet again for another close season.

..it's a sad case situation because we have made ourselves very venerable with crosses into both penalty areas, Benteke could at least make himself a nuisance in both of them ..something needs to be sorted otherwise we are going to struggle next season if we don't and we can't rely on the FA to bring in a ban on heading the ball that quickly.

No, it was anticipation, one thing that Mateta possess a little off, there's been talk today that Edouard lacks confidence but how can we in this league be affording someone in that position so much time to find it?

Agreed 110% - Ed the Groot is a lost cause !

He waits ,waits & when the ball arrives he runs past it - WTF !

JP at least moves off the ball will drag the defender wide to open a gap

Groot waits, waits - no movement off the ball to create space ,run off his marker

Why allow a striker -so called to hold that position from the start of the game ?

He a fing liability you can really see the mids don’t trust him
