I have to say that over the last 10 seasons by & large the mainstay of my positivity surrounding Palace has been that each year there have been at least 3 clubs in the PL with bigger / worse problems than us.

Indeed. The 3 promoted teams, Wolves, Forest, Everton, Bournemouth. There's 7 this season for a start. Some may well not be and others may drop into that category too. We'll probably be settled somewhere with our Capital City neighbours WHU, Fulham and Brentford once again. Perhaps slightly below them. There's my modest prediction for the year

It’s no wonder wolves have had to rein it in, they’ve spent big in the last few years. For example, remember the 18 year old Portuguese so called wonder kid, Fabio Silva? £38 million wasn’t it? That worked out well. Edited by monkey (04 Aug 2023 12.43pm)
