Not sure why some think Lerma and Doucoure couldn’t play together. They are perfect for playing together in a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 with one of them getting up the field as the other holds. I think he is an excellent signing and will be a starter most matches alongside Doucoure. We now need a right back, left back, centre forward and replacement for Wilf if he goes but I doubt we will fill all of those.

With the losses of Macca, Milo and Kouyate over recent seasons it's a position that we definitely need to be adding to. To get Lerma for free with his prem experience after a fine season for Bournemouth would be a very good bit of business. I look forward to Andersen welcoming with open arms on the first day of pre season

Agree with that, such a pairing would give our flair players so much more security to do their thing, if it comes off it’s another piece in the jig saw puzzle of building a really strong side.
