On Saturday, i was the token CPFC supporter in the Bricklayer's Arms (the Tottenham Home supporters Pub). How I did it is secret. Their Choir was singing about Stamford Bridge falling down, Arsenal needing to return to Woolwich, and asking for Daniel Levy to get out of their Club, among other gems.

I was in the Two Brewers, I just kept quiet and drank heavily.

Seriously mate?

We have an agenda in this country to stifle any objection to multi culturalism and immigration. One manifestation of that is to magnify minor school playground antagonisms into something significant. They have even made saying certain things unlawful.

Hard to imagine that has happened in a country so apparently proud of its freedoms.

No one wants to encourage offensive or rude behaviour to anyone, but this is a football match where for decades, antagonism of opposition fans or players was just par for the course and no one cared less. Now suddenly we all have to be terrified of offending anyone who is not Northern European thanks to our new world order.

In our new found puritanical efforts, we better try and keep some perspective, or else we will all be sorry.

It is astonishing that some people still think they can indulge in this childish stuff in public, since it is now deemed akin to murder. Of course, real murder doesn't make the headlines most of the time because it's so common place in multi culture Britain.

Lucky for us, we have Sky Sports to make sure we find out when some football fan commits such a heinous crime. Let's all be grateful that they want to protect us from such dangerous would be Benny Hill impersonators.

"New World Order" what are you on about? This is a discussion about offensive/racist remarks and people are coming up with all sorts that aren't related to what happened to Son. I am all up for debate but on a post about what happened to Son talking about things like new world order, quotas, woke culture and whatever others have mentioned is not relevant.

I am giving you some background as to why we as a nation now get our knickers in a twist about some schoolboy silliness at a football match.
Because it is aimed at an Asian person we are all supposed to indulge in some faux outrage dance?

Give the geezer a proverbial slap for being a t*** and move on.

This kind of sensationalism just encourages t***tish behaviour.

It's not complicated, there is a zero tolerance policy to racism. Everyone who attends matches knows if you step put of line you'll get a banning order. The guy made a racist gesture. The guy will get banned. I think most people will just think 'What a racist tw@t' and move on. I haven't seen anyone getting worked up about this other than people who are seemingly upset that he might get banned?

I sat with my Spurs mate in the home end of the pitch. They were largely quiet with the occasional burst of ‘Spurs’, but by far the chant sung the most was ‘Yid’, not even ‘Yid Army’, just Yid.

If this guy gets banned for several seasons or whatever they are suggesting then it is massively hypocritical of a club that allows constant anti semetic chants. We are living in a society now where we are supposed to conform to whichever social indifference is flavour of the day. To prosecute without upholding the standards of their own fans is just wrong.

It's all about the money.

'Anti racism' groups are massively funded by a wealth of government, corporates and the game. They are like the anti virus companies insomuch as they have an incentive in keeping their...mostly scam going.

Hence, what constitutes 'racism' gets to be smaller and smaller and the reaction to it more and more oddball and disproportionate. Of course you will always have the activist bandwagon class riding on the back of it....for a variety of different reasons.

Why did you ask? Did he take the photo of the racist with his imaginary camera?

Let’s be honest, if we were all to meet up and attend a match as a collective, ‘The Holmesdale (Online) Front’, and somebody did that, might be optimistic but I’d be inclined to suggest the vast majority, if not all, would think and perhaps one or two might actually say ‘what a c**t, mind of a child’ etc etc. I’d feel embarrassed to be associated or even within the vicinity of someone like that. At worst it’s juvenile, quite intentionally racist behaviour and at best stupid beyond belief.

My beef would be with the subjectively perceived glee this is often reported with as media outlets almost look to seize any opportunity to report upon it as though they are doing nothing but crusading for justice when really it is motivated exclusively by self interest. I am also inclined to believe that what could potentially be an isolated moment of stupidity often ends up being blown up and utilised to ruin a persons life. Whether this is the case and/or will happen I don’t know but nonetheless have very little sympathy for the individual. The action itself and to claim ignorance of the potentially catastrophic ramifications is not something I’d associate with any competent adult. Some people have had moments of stupidity where they might have thrown a punch in anger during a confrontation and their victim has fallen, hit their head and died. Far worse things happen which may seem unjust but if you’re a middle aged bloke pulling playground associated racist stunts in today’s technological age, that bed is of your own making.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

This is a correct assessment.

However, I do laugh at what many, particularly young people, call 'racism'.
To someone of my age and experience, it's amusing and also a little tragic that people get triggered so easily and start shouting racist like a pack of defective robots.

Racism used to be something serious.

Ironically pretty much all of the away end were chanting “w@nker,w@nker” as he ambled past. Is that as unacceptable as this guys gesture which clearly was in the heat of the moment without engaging his brain. Does everyone get banned?
BTW I am not condoning the gesture but I think there should be the opportunity for him to publicly apologise and get on with his life, whereas we all know that won’t happen.
