If Brighton lose Caicedo having already lost Mac Allister then they'll have the money, but Gallagher is a different profile of player to either. He did not look like a £40m+ player last season, so we should get a cut for making him look like one while with us I do think we need to forget about CG now though. I liked the Lewis Hall rumours. Even if it was only a loan I think he could add some quality to our team. Agree there. Hall looks like the kind of player who may not be ready to take on the world and thrive in that circus at Chelsea but as with some of their other loanees could really exhibit his quality in a team like ours. I'd be very happy were this to materialise.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Surely, not a Summer Fire Sale but more of a bespoke Sotheby's auction. However, we might get a good loan out of it if they are still unsure about a player.

Think they need to off load players rather than loan them out. But once the Sotheby's auction is over who knows. We picked up Guehi for a snip.

A lot of Chelsea fans could not understand why they sold him to us so cheap. Let’s face it, they have made some dreadful decisions on transfers over the years, the list is virtually endless. So I think there is mileage in going to the summer sales, cash in hand.

i personally couldn’t give a damn if he went to Brighton. He looked good in a certain system that we played. We no longer need to play that system so I’m happy if he doesn’t come back. I’d much rather spend that sort of money on someone like Gyokeres who is going to score some goals Agree. As much as I will always love Connor, he wouldn't work for us any more. He is at his best as a high pressing 10. He failed to impress for both ourselves and more recently Chelsea when he played further back as an 8. He doesn't have the discipline or the technical ability. He could potentially be a pretty good signing for Brighton, as a Mac Allister replacement. He can score and put himself about a bit, but they will miss the passing ability.

I do think that the areal weakness will be the only thing that stops him going to the very top.

Mount, Kovacic, RLC, Bakayoko, Mendy, Koulibaly... It's already begun and I do wonder where it will end and more importantly if any will head slightly south-east geographically.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
