"Scottish prison boss says 'we can't take any more'" [Link] Teresa Medhurst told BBC Disclosure prisons were reaching a "tipping point" and emergency powers could be needed to release inmates early." (BBC website) Surely room for a small one ? and her husband ? Good news for Mr and Mrs Sturgeon

I wondered if this was the right thread to bump. " The husband of former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has been charged in connection with the embezzlement of funds from the Scottish National Party. Peter Murrell, 59, was taken into custody at 09:13 on Thursday and was questioned by Police Scotland detectives." (BBC website) This story seems to be taking off again. It makes you wonder if wee Jimmy Krankie raised any suspicions about how her husband afforded a gigantic motorhome and other luxury items. ? Innocent until proved,...and all that

The SNP will never be fully held to account in my view. The money created by the commercial enterprise known as Scottish Independence still has many heads in the trough. What Scotland has landed itself with is an extreme socialist government who will pursue woke ideology because they can. Reap what you sow I say, the problem is that non Scottish British taxpayers have to fund this nonsense as Scotland is unviable financially with taxes raised within Scotland
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Perhaps the most galling thing for me, was the way Sturgeon used her leadership tenure to continually denounce the unrepresentative London Government, and take a virtue stance about what was 'right'. It seemed the virtue bus was parked out-of-sight, right next to the motorhome.

The only way the SNP will be held to account is if another major independence party arises, say Scottish Labour. Salmon's Alba is a party of one and will disappear when he retires. Until then you vote SNP or nothing.
