Indeed. And Spurs, Arsenal, ManU and Liverpool were so rubbish, they never even entered it. They obviously knew they wouldn't get past the likes of us! ManC did get to the final once (like us) but (unlike us) weren't good enough to win it. Indeed, I bet the big boys wish they had entered now, because they’ve all got a massive gap in their trophy cabinets without it Yes didn’t they lose to Chelsea when it was called the Simod Cup? I expect their fans have still not recovered from the devastation

I've never been so unmoved, why? I've always felt better with every trophy we are probably deficient but there's been a few over the years, I don't know. Man City were poor and Lukaku should be shot. A yawn, and the top of PL is an uncompetitive seasonal bore.

I’ve no issue either, for all their money, it’s still 11 v 11 on the pitch and as fans that’s all we should be bothered about. We’ve bloodied the nose of all the big spenders in our time and when we do it makes it all the more sweet. Good luck to them, I’m glad they won and did the treble Now admittedly if it was Liverpool, Man. Utd, or Chelsea whom I hate(don’t we all) I would definitely have wanted Inter Milan to win, but City and their fans are okay, I’m pleased they did the business

I expect their fans have still not recovered from the devastation They did. 4-5 in fact. I was, as a man of your calibre no doubt appreciated, referring to the underlying competition (The Full Members'Cup) and not to one or other of its sponsorship iterations (Simod, then Zenith Data Systems). Just as I would refer to "The League Cup", ignoring all its various sponsorship names, or "The London Marathon" etc etc TBF to Chelsea, at least they weren't too aloof to enter it, and indeed they won it twice, as did Nottingham Forest.
