Hopefully they will still be handicapped by a virus. We need 3 points here.

Yes, very interesting, it goes to show that you cannot always buy success and that buying smartly is more important for the less wealthy clubs in EPL as some around us have demonstrated!

The meltdown when the team drops and Eze is benched will be spectacular

Depends how much we want it? That’s been very questionable the last 2 games. Unless we show some fight and spirit then we have no chance. So come on Palace, make an effort and earn your wages!

We need a philosophy, get a leader that embraces the and work forward as a unit.

we just seem lost right now.

I fully agree mate we have no natural leader, the last was Jedinak & we really miss that in our squad.I thought Milo was to fulfill this position but the nature of contralto passes to the opposition deemed his net worth = zero.

I think Wilf also was taking this on but his temperament with the refs say in day out rules out his control to young players like EZE,Olise,Mitchell.

So will this fall upon Andersen ? Or will Guehi rise up ?

Yet we lack the main man on the pitch to demand more,to guide,to console,to suggest, to change it up when needed.Patrick needs this desperately.

Our aim season in season out is “survival plan” we need now a change in leadership to go the next step - Steve whilst you have done so well at Palace for Palace unless the strategy on the squad changes the finishing position will not - which was the last team to Loan its way to top 6 ?

Blimey look at the results of all the teams below us this week! Don't think anyone picked up any points? We have 2 games in hand over most teams now!

A win will get us back on track nicely! No need to panic!

I think we will rebound and get a win.

On the wider points of squad depth and ambition, we are in a position which more or less reflects our financial capability vs those teams arounds us, maybe we are punching slightly above our weight. Any thought of top 6 or even Europe is fanciful without a significant continued investment of cash

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Yes,we need a win badly tomorrow to halt our decline and abysmal performances against mediocre teams.
Good news that most sides lost in their first games back from the break, but I would hate to rely on other sides performing worse than us to avoid the dreaded drop this season.

We need to bolster our central midfield with Hughes starting for once which would also give some much needed assistance to Doucoure and an extra outlet for defenders to find.

Schlupp and Ayew looked out of sorts against Fulham so I would bench them with a view to bringing them on in last quarter.

Bournemouth concede heavily at set pieces so this is an area we need to target. Eze needs to fizz them in more when he gets the chance (like Olise). He does have a tendency to balloon them in which is no good.

If Mateta is fit I’d have him up front with Zaha at no fixed abode, floating around around him.

Same here. Vieira said something in an interview that he wants competition so his players avoid complacency. How can this be, when he plays Eze and Schlupp every match, and leaves Hughes and Luka on the bench every match?

Eze has been so bad lately, there's no reason why Hughes shouldn't have gotten a start ahead of him by now. It's gotten so bad that I'd settle for a player who would try for 90 minutes, and surely Hughes would give that over Eze.
