I think some on here are over critical of the value he adds to the team. Ok he is hardly a goal machine but he links up play holds the ball and dictates the pace for us and can be just as good as he is looking today We can all point out what Ayew does not bring and therefore what we'd like to see on the wing in his place. It probably is safe to say we could procure that in the transfer market and may well need that for any measurable success going forward. However, to undermine that he does well, and show a distinct lack of gratitude for it, is not appropriate or acceptable in my eyes. Jordan has been a great player for us and still has something to offer. Even if we were to bring in someone like Sarr (not a fan personally) or other I'd still have Jordan on the bench/in the squad. No he may not be as glamorous as other players, imagined or realistic, however he is still of great value. That goal against West Ham a couple seasons back was enough for me to love him, let alone everything else! Here's a link for anyone wishing to indulge in nostalgia - [Link]
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Thanks Nick, I enjoyed watching that again. Great goal!
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Thanks Nick, I enjoyed watching that again. Great goal! Despite everything Wilf has done over the years POG, I honestly have never had such an overwhelming feeling of the surreal in that moment. The best part for me was I distinctly remember thinking we were only about 10/15 mins into the second half for some reason and it wasn't long after the board went up for added time! What a great day that was.

It pains me to say it, but he was terrible today and both brothers were hooked off early. Andre missed a penalty and Jordan responsible for giving away the ball for the first goal.
