I don't know wheather I'm missing something but couldn't the club put on coach travel like they did with Hartlepool, so this game goes ahead.

I thought it was on the basis the police were thinking we would be staying down there the night if no trains were on?

So if we are only there for a few hours getting of coaches, going into the ground and then getting back on the coaches to return to Selhurst, shouldn't be too hard to police?

...... or couldn't the train unions in an act of good will (as well as good PR) say that that in light of the Queen's death they were going to suspend the strike until after the Queen's funeral.

They have already done that, but it's still been postponed.

This is about the police force and the Queen's funeral, but I have no idea why it takes the whole country's police resources for this, Chelsea v Liverpool has been postponed, I get that, on Sunday afternoon 4.30 kick off in London, but so has M.Utd V Leeds on the Sunday, with a 2.00 kick off.

nothing to do with the death or police resources , this is about clubs own self interest , Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool all in midweek action in Europe needing to put strong sides out because of poor first showings so dont fancy games at weekends and Brighton dont have a manager
