There was also Four Feather Falls, an early Gerry Anderson offering.

The Zoo Gang. Barry Morse, John Mills, Lily Palmer and, er, um, someone else I can't remember. Ex WWII spies with animal code names. Mills was 'Elephant' with a decent memory, and there was a fox for cunning but I can't remember which one. Also a tiger and a leopard, not sure who they were or what they were good at either. It was set in the French Riviera, and they were getting finances from robbing bad guys to fund themselves. Or something like that. I've asked others during my adulthood, and nobody has a clue what I'm talking about.

I believe that Jack Hargreaves was a creator of the programme.

Jack Hargreaves, was a very wealthy man, and was part of the group which set up ITV, he was also a director of Sothern TV

Remember it well, Willo. Bunty James, Jack Hargreaves and Jon Miller.

Fred Dinenage another Southern TV stalwart used to be on as well.

Good one. And of course he also narrated Tales of the Riverbank.

Not to mention his stories as the Hot Chestnut Man. Most enjoyable.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

The inspiration for Bob Fleming on the Fast Show, of course.
