I’m guessing if we’re doing ok then very shrewd signings only, if any. If we’re bang in trouble perhaps an Allardyce-esque panic spree.

In any instance it’s extremely disappointing. I, for one, would much prefer the club to state ‘we’re not expecting to…’ or ‘ unless…’. Not that I believe everyone wants this nor the club are eagerly waiting for my opinion on this matter!
