Confirmed by a well known and reliable source on twitter that Sarr is our number one target. Villa bid was a surprise. Sarr identified as a starter. If dont get sarr will move onto other back up target. This is not semenyo who is targeted as a squad player.

We have Ebeowei who is going to be very similar if not better than Sarr if he progresses as predicted, so not sure why we need Sarr at all, unless of course he is a direct replacement for Wilf and that Wilf is going prior to season end.

Blimey Aston Villa will have Sarr, Ings, Watkins, Buendia, Bailley, Coutinho, Young, Trezeguet, El Ghazi and Traore all battling for the 3 spots up front! All they need is a decent manager and they may win a few games with all of those!
