How quickly some people forget. Conor was amazing for us. With the re-emergence of Ebs he was playing deeper which isnt his real strength. We have Doucoure now who can protect the back four which would release him to press higher with Ebs weaving his magic just behind. He also completely bought into what our club is all about and had a great relationship with the fans.
I would love him to come back. Doucoure, Gallagher, Eze, yes please.

We all know that as a young player Connor ,has wanted to be a true blue, and make his career at that club. And ideally still would. But the time has come that to keep improving and developing , he needs to play , and fairly regularly . If that is in real doubt he must know his career is in limbo. Then there must be every chance he becomes available. What form that takes is open, and who can afford him might be open. But if Chelsea, can not give him regular game time, Connor, and his advisers might not help themselves if they don’t ask to move on.
Connors a great young player perfect for us ,and one or two others. Chelsea, have a very high bar, and I don’t think he quiet clears it. So something could yet happen. I hope if it does we are involved.

It sounds like he had a stinker v Arsenal. Couple more bad games...he was great early on for us hut he did tail off...hopefully Chelsea quickly give up on him
