It's a mystery why WAGs should be of any interest to anyone. Thinking back to the '66 team I can only remember Tina Moore and Norma Charlton and they were hardly front page news. My diagnosis is that people have become so disconnected in their own lives these days that we are seeing a general decline in 'intelligence', by all measures and barometers, and therefore constantly need to obsess over other people's. It's a bit like 'Wagatha Christie', why anyone gives a flying f**k I do not know plus, and more importantly, would anyone on here accept either Coleen or Rebekah if they were on x amount per week, a celebrity and national hero (on occasions)? I wouldn't choose either over my current missus!!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

GS has now come out saying the term 'WAGs' is disrespectful. TBH I'd rather he concentrate on winning games for England then constantly trying to be a stool pigeon for 'diversity and inclusion' fanatics. On the other hand, I would like to see the return of phrases such as 'Gold-diggers', 'Slags' or 'Layabouts'. Perhaps that's not quite the spirit intended however. Yup he should focus on the team. That said I have always understood WAG to be a term of abuse for a useless appendage that leaches off the fame of her partner. There are plenty of wives and girlfriends who do not do that and therefore do not warrant being called a WAG. Collen and Rebekah for example do. Edited by Badger11 (14 Jun 2022 11.25am)

Edited by Badger11 (14 Jun 2022 11.25am) the lower the League, the fewer the WAG's. Imagine being an older player in League Two. To get that pretty girl, You might have to compete with plumbers, bankers and office workers.

One word - woeful! I get the fact he is experimenting with different players - but watching the ball being passed sideways and backwards for the majority of the game is demoralising for everyone.
