In both situations when you mess with the bull you get the horns Some people shouldn’t be allowed to have camera phones tbh This is what I hate about today’s younger generation. Their right to abuse someone but not receive a reaction and cry about it and get the person arrested or somehow publicly embarrassed. I suppose it spills over from social media.

Fully support Vieira here, those fans should not be on the pitch in the first place and cannot expect to behave in that way without taking accountability for any response. BTW he's still quick, great move! that first video has him bang to rights. Fair play to Vieira for kicking him up the arse

Get in there. f*** off.” All while jumping around like some sort of inexplicably aroused frog, with his phone and flipped bird aggressively hovering about an inch from Vieras Moon. Can't think many people would have simply walked off and not snapped. Rages me even now just thinking about it. The one thing I've never really understood is adult fans (this includes Palace fans) who literally scream abuse at opposing players and managers. You see their stupid bright-red scrunched up faces as they hurl expletives and you would think the player had murdered their children. Football creates these strange paradoxical microcosms where otherwise normal human beings can turn into angry little scumbags. It's like life's challenges get bundled up and liquidised into bile that comes spurting out of every orifice when the referee gives a bad call, or an opposing player commits a foul. Vieira didn't act professionally, but he did act like many of us would if provoked in that way. He'll rightly get fined as you can't just kick a fan, but we'll all support him as we would love to have done the same.

Thing is with Vieira, as a player he owned that space. And here it is on display, he is in his element, no panic, calmly walking across the pitch, until the muppet lays a hand on him. Technically that's assault by the Everton chump, and PV defended himself. The FA have nothing here without opening a huge can of worms, particularly in the light of similar recent pitch invasions and the injury to a player. I would suspect the club already have the legal team on it.

Apparently Everton have reported PV to the FA and the police. Doubt the police will do anything (same as they did nothing last night)

Particularly when their Uber knob FL fanned the post-match flames revelling in the pitch invasion. He really needs some training on post-match comments. In the EFL.

The one overiding worry for me, is i hope to god OUR fans don't do this on Sunday.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
