Should've put more past them, so not impressed on that front. Still, it's another win..

I will take the win but agree we need to be better in final third, I really don't care how scrappy goals are as long as we convert more of our chances. Still onwards and upwards!

Exactly. Definitely areas that require attention, but at the same time am chuffed to see us flying high in the table!

It was an end of the season stroll in the park for us. And we got three points.

Zaha talking after the game about how there's a lot to come in the future. He excited enough by the current team that he's gonna stop trying to get a movd away every summer?

We have to win all 3 final games, while hoping West Ham and Wolves collapse, then 7th place is possible.

Grateful there were no injuries, assuming Guehi is okay. Uninspiring attack, but Roy's teams play narrow and seldom allow shots from good angles.

I wish we could have started the game with a 3-goal deficit, just to see us play with more urgency. Despite the possession stats, we seldom pressed them or looked hungry to score.

Happy to avoid defensive mistakes, and happy to be in 9th in the month of May.

Disappointed with our quality of passing, actually not only from Ward but from most of the players.
Butland a solid understudy, feel pretty confident with him between the sticks. Guita injured?

Firstly - well done Vieira - totally changed our style of play, much more enjoyable to watch, FA Cup Semi Final and mathematically safe with 3 games still to go..!!

We’d have all taken that at the start of the season..!!

Today was never going to be easy - Watford were in last chance saloon - add in the Roy factor who I’m sure would have loved to see us off for his last hurrah - that’s the sort of game under Roy we would have lost - but we didn’t and that shows how far we have come this season.

We can now sit back comfortably from upon high in the league and watch the rest of them fight it out with our “flip flops” on...!!

On that it’s going to be tight - think as much as 41 points maybe the benchmark for safety - so Southampton need to be careful that they don’t “sleepwalk” into a relegation “dog fight” on the last day with just 2 games left they have Liverpool and Leicester left to play and their form is horrible..!!

Sent Watford down today - just how many times in recent years have we sent a Team down - at the lost knockings - here’s to us doing the same to Everton away..!!

Meantime we can all sit back, celebrate and enjoy sending Watford and Roy down - before anyone says it I fully appreciate and respect all Roy did for us - but on from those seasons of “ Roy Ball” I cant deny it feels sweet..!!

Just want to finish ahead of Brighton now - that’s the final aim and would finish a great season off perfectly..!!

Off to Cyprus on Wednesday for a week calm and relaxed with my “flip flops” on..!!!

Wish we had scored more goals, but delighted with the result.

We were sloppy at the end, but that is to be expected in a late season match, especially facing such a woeful side as Watford had today. They looked like they had no interest in trying to score, right from the start. I'd be embarrassed for them if I wasn't so happy to see them relegated.

Loved the chants about Wilf sending them down!

Think it’s fair for people to moan a bit if they like, one of the most uneventful afternoons at SP in my life however I think it hard to fault your comment.

We can all breathe now and that’s coming from a hardcore pessimist/worrier/catastrophiser!

Wins a win, 10th, relegated Watford and another goal for Wilf. I’ve had far worse experiences going to palace!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I thought it was interesting that none of the out of contract players except Clyne, started, Edouard, Skilful though he is, is not a loan CF, i think if you take Gallagher out and put Doucoure in That will probably be the midfield and forwards for next season, unless Nketiah signs. its vital we get rid of some of the deadwood.
