In recent months, Wilf seems (to me at least) to have shown an increased maturity and doesn't get riled nearly as much as he has done in the past.

I think he would go to Arsenal in a heartbeat if an acceptable offer was made irrespective of the wages. IMHO he wants European club football on his CV and this season he's one of the league's leading scorers (yes there have been 5 penalties but he's still hit 8 other PL goals and tbf several of the penalties were won by him in the first place). Also Arsenal will be playing European club football next season and at present are well placed to qualify for the CL.

I think there is a good chance he will actually go this window if the right offer comes in. His performances since Afcon have been consistently good.

I agree, despite many of us thinking he isn't the Zaha he once was, statistically he is still one of the leagues top players. Joint 6th highest scorer in the league.

Looking down the list of the leagues top goals scorers he's probably the only one you'd be able to get or under £20m.

For my money Arsenal or Newcastle are the most likely destinations.

Probably not saying anything new here, but I would be amazed if we lose Olise this summer. Fantastic prospect as he is, he has only started less than 15 PL matches I would guess, sometimes really exciting, sometimes not really getting into it. I think he needs a season of major influence under his belt before clubs are going to pay £35m plus for him. Hope I'm not being naive !

As for Wilf, I think we have a good chance of keeping him. He has seemed much happier this season with some other attacking talent around him, and for my money he has improved under PV. He has produced some fantastic passing into his repertoire, the ball slid behind Watford's full-back to Olise on Saturday being a perfect example. As many others have said, he will struggle to get a game in the CL, and would he really want to go to Newcastle ? Who else ?

Arsenal spent £70m on Pepe. What on earth would they need Zaha for? Player recruitment seems to be a bit of a problem for the Gunners.

Because he's a better and more versatile player than Pepe (who only seems to play on the right in Saka's position).

How many of Wilf's goals this season have been pens and where would he rank in goals from open play?

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

After season upon season of picking up POTS awards, wonder how Wilf will be feeling to pick up neither that one or player's player? Will it damage his ego? Or will he be glad we finally have players of a similar ilk to him. I fear the former...but hope for the best!

I cant see Wilf leaving us unless PV goes , people have this idea that he is a goal scorer , no he is a creator who sometimes scores his record on goal scoring is very up and down only 3 times he has reached double figures , this is by far his best season and with pen duty thats helped , that with 3 games left can get to 20 , doubt it but could help us win last 3 games .

Olise just need to track back better but he is still a kid learning nice to have 2 wide players

Not sure anyone has ever put him in that bracket of a goal scorer.

But regardless, he is a wide man who, pens or not, has outscored a lot of good players this season. Incl goal scorers like Vardy, Ings, Lukaku, Jesus etc.

Reading Parish’s comments last night he makes specific reference to rewarding young players who have done well, in anticipation of interest from other clubs as a result of their performances .
It wouldn’t surprise me if this applied to Guehi as well as Olise.
From his comments he indicates that Olise is very happy at the club and I don’t foresee him leaving in the summer.
Parish also makes it clear that we will be in for Gallagher if there is a chance of Chelsea making him available.
If this doesn’t happen he alludes to the fact that we have other options.
I also get the impression we will be in for a forward , possibly Nketiah, although there’s likely to be a bit of interest in him in the light of his recent form.
In recent weeks Zaha hasn’t given the impression of a man wanting to leave, but ultimately I suppose it will depend of the nature of the interest in him in the summer and whether this forces a decision from the club and player.
