I'd also add however that if you choose to live your life as a sex different to your own you have the right to identify as such. However, that will be your identity: You are a 'trans' man or woman, a factual statement. It should not give you the right to then be legally identified and protected as something you are not.

Gender dysphoria is a complicated issue. From a psychological point of view, gender reassignment is clearly not always the 'wrong' choice. Indeed if a person is happier post sex change they do not even have Gender dysphoria at that point.

Clearly a biological man is a man and a biological woman is a woman, but as adults at least (since i've very much against kids making drastic decisions) people make their own choices in life, as they should be able to, and if there is an intersection where it inconveniences others it will have to be thrashed out as it goes in a rational way though, rather than what activists want etc. As I say, to my mind trans women should simply never be in womens sport, that I believe is what con conclusion will eventually be reached and it will offer clarity.

I genuinely struggle to understand the Left over this trans issues. It's a tiny minority interest, with no real defining movement nor agreement on what 'Trans' actually is.

And yet they are willing to attack women whilst dressed in masks? Like a bunch of would be rapists? And I make no apologies for that emotive language because that is the reality. Men attacking women for their own gratification.

The optics are horrendous and offers the Tories an open goal. Labour can present policy after policy and yet everytime a leading Labour politician cannot define what a woman is, they get humiliated.

One more point

Now all we need to do is convince the relative authorities that:

people with a cervix
people who menstruate
birth-givers
chest feeders
etc. etc. etc

are actually WOMEN - who are the only people that these things apply to, and the NHS and others can stop wasting money on changing their literature to nonsense!
