Strange that. Danny De Vito was my first thought for Stirling. Short, ugly and full of self-importance. Some of that has to be accurate. He is very funny though, which really rules him out. Farage is much better. Wow. The irony.

Yet another example of a remarkable lack of self awareness. That came straight to my mind also, Hrolf! It is simply amazing.

I thought fighting at school was basically compulsory. Teachers used to watch our fights. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I'd never done it. Kind of fight or be bullied in my youth. That’s how I remember it too. If you lost It was better to take one kicking but at least fight back and then those who enjoyed that kind of thing would pick an easier target. The younger the better too since the violence got a lot worse as kids got older.

It sounds like to me that Becky is angling for the job of one of those girls who wears a leotard & walks around the ring with one of those Round numbers boards !!

I went to a pretty tough school too, but it was always possible to avoid getting involved. You just needed to use your brain rather than your fists. The biggest bully there ended up in jail, and quite possibly died there. He used to beat kids up just for looking at him. So I didn't look at him. It also had an artistic side to it, as both Jeff Beck and Roy Budd were contemporaries of mine.

We have to embrace change and all that. I've done alright....didn't have to catalogue my bird in.

Like a parody of the Reggie and CJ scene's in The fall and rise of Reginald Perrin. Comedy at its finest. Anyone able to put a link up would be great.👍

Anyone able to put a link up would be great.👍 The odd thing is that I could empathise with Reggie more than most. As part of my long and varied "career" I spent a while in the sales and marketing department of a company who produced desserts. Sunshine Desserts was so true to me. I knew more than one "Tony Webster" who would shout "great" every time a CJ lookalike opened his mouth. So I recognised the characters and even more of the attitudes, along with the pointless team building exercises. I sometimes wondered if there was a mole working there who was passing ideas to the scriptwriters. And no, I haven't faked my death and returned to be a pig farmer. Yet.
