Nice to know that the labour(ing) leader was at a work meeting & not a party whilst not wearing a mask & quaffing vast amounts of beer. Totally different senario to what that other lot were doing, im glad its all above board. Whereas because he's a lizard man he should be able to absorb sustenance through his tongue, around the side of his mask. The only relevant issue is whether he 'shared' food or drink. There was nothing at the time to stop him taking on board refreshments if working, especially if working very late. There was also nothing to prevent people working together, albeit the RECOMMENDATION was to work from home wherever possible. This is sheer desperation in an attempt to smear all politicians so BoJo comes out as 'normal' and no worse than others. Well I don't buy that, he is 'abnormal' and I am not one for the conspiracy theory of all politicians are self-serving and greedy.

How do you he wasn't, or are you just editorialising your statement because you do like him? FYI, i dont like any politicians. Second time on the thread people just invent a story and the justification is 'well how do you know it's not true?' It's getting desperate

Exactly that - it's nothing but a myth for people to try and feel better about who they voted for.

I can't help but think that parties during Covid may be distracting people from much wider issues of concern. Whichever side of the political spectrum you prefer.

Labour member John Bercow has been found guilty of 21 separate allegations of bullying. I expect this will get more visibility when the official report is published but I am surprised that Labour accepted him into the party knowing this was hanging over him. Odious little man. As an MP he was Conservative and then the Speaker, so effectively non-aligned. During the time he is alleged to have been a bully he was not in the Labour party.

John Bercow - I had forgotten about him! I couldn't even remember that he was Labour. He may be the forgotten man, yet strangely far more charismatic than the current Labour leader and more memorable. I suppose you could say he at least had clear views on things, and wouldn't be afraid to give his own views. I suppose not exactly the best qualities of a Speaker of the House, but I guess the shouting was handy.

You should be truelly thankful you haven't got that little ginger cow Sturgeon to deal with. She relies on the Greens to help push through her awful policies( no road improvements for example.)The Tories here are quite funny, the leader is a qualified linesman and has been known to miss debates or votes as he is running the line in Ukraine or other exotic destination.

Glad to see that Scotland is being run as badly as us Little Englanders hoped that it would be by Wee Crankie!

I expect he misses quite a bit on the pitch.

I deliberately called him Labour but you chose to ignore my point as to why. He left his job in disgrace with many in Parliament and the country believing he was bias something that has not happened to a Speaker in living memory. Regardless of whether he was bias or not he had serious multiple allegations hanging over him however the Labour party chose to accept him into the party knowing that the investigation was ongoing. He has now been found guilty of 21 of those allegation (according to him) so my criticism of Labour is not what Bercow did as the Speaker but of them accepting someone who had a tarnished reputation which is even more tarnished now. They didn't need him or the embarrassment that he has become.

I second that emotion. Every time she announces some daft idea it involves her saying how heavily it weighs upon her.
