Our pile up of problems does not exist in the EU.

Did they exist when we were in the EU? No, they did not.

Do they now? Yes, and forecast to get worse.

Brexiteers live in a world of complete denial, as do much of the media and the government for obvious reasons, to the extent of projecting these problems on covid and editing out the truth that they are brexit related.

I said they are brexit related but only as it has allowed hmg to level up the playing field. Is that so wrong.
I can guarantee that you and your cohorts are set for life. Most aren't so why should liggers and scammers be in a better position.
How much philanthropy do you lot actually show apart from buying sharpies and writing placards to march around with telling people they should be equal no matter. Well feck em, I beleive in fairness and that means the same rules, not some dumb arse socialist share out everyone's money policy.

Brexit in a nutshell really.

I had a little wager that you would reply to my post, how predictable you are. Nice to know you don’t believe anything you see on social media.
These industry experts wouldn’t be remainders by any chance would they?

why not just make the HGV test easier/quicker so we can get more drivers.?
Or collect the tokens on the back of loo roll packets,....oh wait,...

It seems there are a plethora of excuses politicians use to weasel their way from blame.

Covid, Brexit, HGV driver shortages, Carbon Dioxide, global warming, Megan and Harry,...

Perhaps not all down to Brexit, but Rod McKenzie of the RHA, states that the 20,000 European drivers who have left the country have left a big hole!

Just listening to a British lorry driver saying why brits don’t want to do it and how East Europeans don’t have council tax and higher rent costs so this wage suppression is why the need has been created

You are of course right, it's got NOTHING to do with Brexit, thats just the remoaners crying foul again, as well as those that dislike the UK.

Anyway, gonna be more shelves empty & petrol stations closed, seeing as those crusaders for the common man, 'insulate britain' have blockaded Dover & the foreign drivers wanting to return home for the w/e basically are *ahem* persuading them to desist & go elsewhere.

Is it kicking off and are the lorry drivers dragging them away?

Sounds like the 'lorry driver' can't handle some competition. The term 'East Europeans' is also quite derogatory. There are several countries in the 'east' of Europe, all of them sovereign states with their own country name. Any of these non-UK drivers living in the UK have exactly the same cost of living. Just because their lifestyles are different doesn't make them unfair competition. Maybe the UK drivers need to 'optimise' their life styles instead to compete as right now, there are far less of them getting paid a lot more, so the money goes into far, far fewer pockets and many, many more end consumers will be paying higher prices for the privilege. Those higher prices will eventually be paid by the drivers themselves negating any extra money they get in the short term. Everyone loses.

Well you won't so bugger off to a hol in whichever hole country you call home. Watch the door come in when you give your opinion there. Keyboard warrior of the highest order. A sergent warrior. Carry on and I'm sure you will make captain in no time. Always carry kleenex in your pocket though.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at but what percentage of your posts have I replied to in the last month? I think this is the only one. Get over yourself.

No, I don’t believe things I see on social media - you should give it a go.

Did I mention the last month? I have never frequented social media and don’t intend starting but thanks for the advice
