I'm not wasting energy on hate any more. Tend to laugh at the stick we seem to get from nearly everywhere. Impressed with the job PV is doing even in the defeat at the pool. Can see Harry Potter at a new club soon, possibly Tottenham if he wants it but credit where credits due he has done a great job down the road. Problem might arise when they lose a couple more players to other clubs. They are a fair team, currently way above where they should be but they will lose soon and it's how they react. Hopefully tonight is their first loss but I regretfully feel it's got 2-2 allover it.

The Brighton team bus runs out of fuel on the M23. Brighton are docked 10 points for a no-show,...and their fans weren't going to make the trip anyway.

Leicester aside there's been no surprise results from them and even that game they rode their luck (to be fair they were short of that last season). They probably deserved to be higher in the league last season based on their performances and I think they might finish top 10 this season. Tonight's game is so hard to call as we have been showing signs of improvement week on week, plus we've already played two of the title challengers and two teams who are likely to be contenders for European places and yet still have 5 points. The big question may come down to who feels the pressure more from Brighton's chance to go top...it would add an extra layer of sweetness if us winning (or even drawing with them) prevents that. After us they have an in-form Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool in their next four games. COYP

Same mate, it’s just the done thing to hate Brighton, most of those who still relish in it were no-where near even being born when it all happened, I hated Mullery, Peter Ward, Brian Horton, Steve Foster etc with a passion back then, but apart from dunk I couldn’t even name another one of their players who’ll be playing tonight, and don’t care 1-1 by the way Yeah, we did a lot of hating back then mate!

I am not going to make a prediction here, but I will say that it's only 3.48pm and I am already parading around the house singing "Andy Johnson's Magic" though I have to be careful with the final line, if the kids are nearby. And no booze consumed yet. Edited by Noz (27 Sep 2021 3.50pm)
