This made me laugh. Would you care to define 'our way of life'? Are the immigrants going to cause the destruction of all carbon based lifeforms or just those infected with patriotic syphilis? You do realise that ALL OF the economic migrants are Muslim, and will therefore have different views and way of life? This was even mentioned by the left wing host discussing this on LBC last night. Tom Swarbrick it was. What makes this situation worse is that they cause difficulties with housing and providing facilities for not only British families but also true refugees. No talk of wealthy Arab nations helping these countries or people and you do realise this never stops, or do you? I reckon you don’t. Edited by Rudi Hedman (10 Sep 2021 2.25pm)

What is interesting in such a foolish and unnecessary operation as Patel is ordering, is what happens if it goes disastrously wrong (quite likely). And she and her officials may not be in the clear by ordering others to carry out their political desires. As an example, Matteo Salvini ex-Deputy PM of Italy. He blocked a migrant boat of 147 souls from landing twice, leaving them to their own devices. He is looking at a cool 15 years inside. How are the mighty fallen.

Operation Warm Welcome (Britain’s Afghan resettlement scheme) will cost the British taxpayer an estimated £2.5 billion over the next 10 years. The cost of our asylum system is £1.4 billion a year (up from £956 million last year). The NHS spends over £23 million a year on translators. Last year we wasted £600,000 on deportations flights that never even took off. Social liberalism in action....from fake conservatives.

(BBC website) How about stopping the c-units at source by intercepting them as they attempt get in their boats at France ? French are only now scared they'll lose the money the UK is giving them to stop these migrants
Well the French could stop escorting the dinghies into U.K. waters for a start... fact. That probably breaks maritime law but never gets reported

Sky have traced one of the most recent boats used to a boatyard in the Netherlands. Now you have to ask why the border force haven’t been able to do this themselves ? Stop sending millions of pounds to the french who do nothing ! Not sure it’s BF job to trace where boats are from. I agree with your last sentence

Young Gambian men fleeing for there lives, as an example.

Personally I do not have an issue with many of the Afghan refugees, as they assisted the NATO forces and should have been given safe passage months ago. I strongly object to the economic migrants crossing the Channel. Perhaps Steeleye can explain why his sympathies lie with the Albanians who pitch up on the beaches daily

In my view a war in another land should not mean and lead to an automatic pass to living in the west. These people were paid well for their choices. While I agree that we should get them out it should be to Islamic regional countries with a paid arrangement with Turkey or elsewhere. Also....Who is going to take responsibility when one of these incomers kills or rapes? No, it won't just be the responsibility of background checkers because the logic of how on earth they can be certain is little more than a joke. This is irrational policy based upon empathy.....which leads to the blood of innocents. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Sep 2021 5.28pm)

When the migrants arrive on their dinghies they are given new tracksuits, as many are infested with lice. For some that is not good enough, here are some examples of what they have said to my wife “ where are my new shoes?” “ thanks but I need a house” “ what no money?”… fact and posters on here wonder why I get p***ed off and accuse me of being a white racist nationalist
