Voted as the best in the world for a 7th time last night - Ronaldo out of the top 3 for the first time since 2010.

The best of all time.

That was a joke and everyone knows it.

Very very good, but not the goat.

They might have to try him at centre back.

Will probably be great providing he's alongside xavi and inesta who both carried him back when barca dominated.

I don't get why people always do this debate in extremes - you can prefer Ronaldo to Messi without making objectively moronic claims like that.

He was turning out 50+ goals a season, with 20 or 30 assists to boot - no one can be carried to those numbers.

Whats moronic, when barca dominated club football, Spain dominated International football, i wonder what the common denominator was ? I'll give you a clue it wasn't messi.

Moronic is claiming that either Ronaldo or Messi have been carried - they’re the best two players of the last decade. Pick a side by all means but anything beyond that is silly.

When Madrid dominated the CL, Portugal didn’t dominate internationally - what does that prove? It must have been Ramos and Kroos carrying him since they were doing well internationally or..?

Actually Portugal won the euros, thanks for proving my point. Messi is finished at 34 and can't even do it in a farmers league

Paris Saint Germaine will NOT be winning the Champions League with Messi.

the whole team is an undisciplined rabble. Individual talents that do not play as a team. A nightmare for any manager.

i predict another 12 months and Messi is ready to play in the English championship.

or maybe just come on for the last 20 minutes for any team in the Prem relegation fight.

he looked broken in the match yesterday.

The best attacking player in the World is maybe Mo Salah or maybe some other fella.

Salah is definitely the best player in the world I wouldn't even compare a player from another league to him, the Premier league is so far stronger than any other league that you can't even compare. The same as how much stronger serie a was in the early 90s which is why comparing players just at their prime, you could make a stronger argument for Maradona being the best ever, he done the modern day equivalent of someone going to Everton and single handedly winning the league.

What did they expect with Pochettino?

Apparently the state of being 'Spursy' is contagious!
